Phase I treatment:

The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that a child’s first visit to an orthodontist should take place when an orthodontic problem is first detected.
Early treatment may achieve results that are unattainable once the face and jaws have finished growing.
This is treatment with fixed or removable appliances for generally a 6-to-14-month period to correct poor jaw growth, create space for developing teeth and/or provide normal facial muscle and development. It can take place in one or both jaws
90% of Phase I patients will still eventually benefit from Phase II treatment utilizing full upper and lower braces to finalize the bite correction

Phase II treatment

usually begin within months and in some cases years after phase I treatment
fixed braces are used for typically 18 to 30 months. The goal of Phase II treatment is to achieve an ideal occlusion with all of the permanent teeth.

Comprehensive Treatment

It is appropriate for young adults and children who have lost all or almost all of their baby teeth. In general, it involves use of braces on upper and/or lower teeth to shift or correct bite problems.
in general, orthodontic treatment ranges from less than a year to three years depends on the severity of the original bite problem, the growth of the jaws and face,
removing teeth is sometimes needed to get the best orthodontic result. It’s a technique involving the removal of selected teeth to make room for the other teeth in your child’s or your mouth.
The retention phase is the final step of orthodontic treatment. Removable retainers are worn full-time (except while eating and brushing) in the initial retention phase, then only at night in later months. The purpose of the retention phase is to help stabilize the teeth in their new position and ensure the dazzling new smile will remain for a lifetime.

Adult treatment

Orthodontics can still help you achieve a great smile. You are never too old for braces
Age is not a factor of whether someone can undergo orthodontic treatment, as long as the gums and bone which support your teeth are healthy.
